Team Hope just returned from their Summer 2010 mission trip to Diriamba, Nicaragua and the surrounding villages. A team of 18 total went, Eight from Journey Church, Six from White Oak Church in Houston and Four from Chapel on the Campus at Louisiana State University. The group fed 1700 plates of Nicalaya (the locals renamed Jambalaya), 204 Family bags of clothing, 106 pairs of shoes, 53 New Dresses, 450 Tooth Brushes, 480 Cross Necklaces, 530 Girls Gift Bags, 500 Boys Gift Bags, 75 Soccer Balls, 110 lbs of Candy, 514 Spanish bibles, 270 Dry Beans & Rice Combo Gift Bags and so much more including new bowls, tennis balls, stickers and the list goes on and on! God is so good! The team wants to thank everyone that supported & prayed for this mission. Without YOU this wouldn’t have been a successful mission! Journey Church would like to thank TEAM HOPE for your heart to serve and your over flowing love for God’s people. Thank you for all you do!
